Probably the most amazing social networking site in the universe,
The Forcebook is a place where Star Wars fans can gather and geek the hell out. I've been a member for a little over a month now and let me just say I've fallen in love.
I spend most of my internet time over there, and even when I'm working really hard on this stuff for Star Wars Month in August [If you missed my post about the Star Wars themed month we're throwing,
check it out here] I've still got it opened up in a tab. If you love Star Wars, whether you're a hardcore fan or you just love the movies, definitely go join because they are the nicest most welcoming people ever! I've made some really great friendships over there and am learning a lot!
In addition to The Forcebook [which I am a moderator by the way] I'm also over on this nifty little companion guide website to the Forcebook called
The Forcebook Cantina. It's run by two very awesome boys named Joe and Andy. Every week they have a Star Wars themed podcast and guess who is also on there every episode? Yours truly!
So if you want to listen to us talking nerdy to you, or you just want to tune into Andy's hot Canadian accent or my hilarious Australian accent you should definitely check out the podcasts! I'm the only girl there which is hilarious, the boys joke often that I'm useless but they keep me around for my novelty I think. And I'm like the canned laughter. I'll be hosting Fangirl Only episodes every now and then which is scaring me [Andy is making me do everything there!] but I'm pretty excited about it. There's some amazing girls I've met over there, with two of the most enthusiastic being 14 and 11 years old!
Back to craftiness, I'll be throwing up Star Wars crafts over on the Forcebook Cantina website every now and then but you won't miss it because I'll link you from here :)
I'm slowly but surely amassing all the crafts and tutorials I'll be showing off to you in August, we have just two weeks left! Anyway, I better get back to the Darth Vader minidress, it is NOT turning out how I originally wanted it so I need to think of something equally as awesome.
