Stormtrooper Masks
Recycling massive milk bottles to turn into these amazing stormtrooper helmets is one of the reasons I have a blog crush on Filth Wizardry. She comes up with the funnest things for her daughters,

Tutorial: Bleached Out Slogan tee
Ahh I love how this turned out!
I used my favourite dialogue between Princess Leia and Han Solo where she professes her love for him and he replies in a very... scruffy-lookin' nerf-herder way!
Oh man it makes me laugh every time.
Anyway, hit the jump for the tutorial!

Death Star Dollhouse + Space Station Playset
My youngling LOVES his dollhouse at his grandparents' house. It was made by his great-grandfather and he adores it. My husband, of course, feels anxious that he is playing with girl toys. I don't mind at all because I like playing with the dollhouse with him!
I found this Death Star dollhouse, of sorts. You could once buy them as cardboard sheets and clip them all together, but those are old and are hard to find. This wonderful man has scanned in all the pieces of the Palitoys' Death Star and compressed it in one handy ZIP file for you to download right here.
I printed mine out and I'm gluing it to a flattened box of corrogated cardboard. I plan on mod-podging it to make it sturdier and using zipties instead of the clips at the base.
Another playset that is for Star Wars figures, but isn't actually Star Wars at all, is the Outer Space Station by Woman's Day back in the day! This playset would be so easy to make out of various recycled materials
The instructions for the Space Station are here. More photos and the write up of it can be found here!

Tutorial: Ruffled Mini
Probably the simplest of skirts, this style I whip up when I have nothing to wear or if I have stray rectangles of fabric. This particular Star Wars skirt was made from two Fat-quarters I bought on eBay. I bought them as one continuous piece of fabric but if you have them cut seperately I don't think it'd be that big a deal.
This is a really great way to use fat quarters you buy of awesome fabric but don't know what to do with them!

Star Wars Masks
The Star Wars website has some cute stuff on it. For Halloween they have paper masks you can print out. Personally I just want to wallpaper the toilet with Anakin Skywalker's face

Tutorial: Lego Lightsaber Necklaces
I've seen these all over the place, but I couldn't be bothered trying to find a drill bit small enough to drill a hole into the hilt of a lego lightsaber so I did it my own way!
You can try bidding on them on eBay but it gets really crazy on there! Click here to buy a set of 8 on Amazon [including two glow in the dark!]

Clone Trooper Lego mod
Flickr user Onkelond modified a clone trooper Lego figure so that the helmet lights up when you push a tiny button in its back. It looks fiddly but I definitely want to give this a go! It's so cute!
Tutorial is here on flickr!

Star Wars Papercraft Toys
I went on a mision to find little paper toys to print, cut and fold and hoooo boy did I hit the jackpot!
You can print the PDFs out here over at Toy-A-Day. There's the Storm Trooper, Yoda, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, C-3PO and R2D2.
There's also some cute toys over at Cubeecraft. There's R2D2, a Stormtrooper and Darth Vader.
Also check out CyberDrone's templates over on DeviantArt. Clicking this link will take you to printouts of several types of TIE Fighter, most of the characters, a Jawa Sandcrawler, most of the R2 droids, several Clone Troopers, several Stormtroopers and a Jawa. Seriously epic stuff over there!
If you're feeling even more adventurous, I DOUBLE DARE YOU to try these ones! Diego has several of the model ships ready to print and fold [I'm scared!], a battledroid and a battlepod. I swear if someone makes this you will get +7 Internet Points.
This little Japanese site has several of the ships and droids also. Amazing. Good luck!
Also, wanna give Darth Maul a go?

Tutorial: Off the Shoulder T-Shirt Surgery
Smoothtrooper lovers yo mammas flap-jacks!
It's true!
When my sister and her fiance came back from Japan they told me about this hilarious shirt they saw. I looked for it on eBay and I found it! [Pretty sure if you haven't worked out by now, eBay was my BFF all throughout the preparation for this month!]
Here's what the original shirt looked like
I resized it and made it off-the shoulder. Would you like to learn how?

Yoda Hat
Heather from Dollar Store Crafts made this adorable Yoda hat! You can make it for adults or children. Here's the one I made for my Youngling!
All you need is green fleece [from the roll or from an old blanket] and some buttons! I got the blanket for $4 from the local Crazy Whatever-They-Call-Themselves-Now. I used the existing hem on it as the hem for the hat so I didn't need the extra band she uses in the tutorial.
In future Yoda hats oh yes there will be many more in my future] I would add interfacing to the ears to make them stick out a little more.
*Force Wave* You will follow this link to the tutorial

Tutorial: Jedi Minidress
Today you're going to learn how to make this dress!
I aimed to make a dress that was modelled after the Jedi clothing, but something that I could wear outside the house and conventions! This is NOT supposed to be an accurate costume, it's a nod to the Jedi while still looking hell yeh hot! The robe I made as a mini dressing gown to keep me warm and snuggly. I used brown fleece for comfort, but you can totally use a thin cotton poplin if it is hot where you live, or a heavier drill fabric for something more weighty.
The robe tutorial will be up later this month, so let's work on the dress first!
