Try This Thursday #16: A DAUGHTER

So to celebrate the fact that there is a DAUGHTER in my belly {yes that is SO weird to think of. I honestly expected a boy!}, here's my 9 favourite things I'm going to make her!

Also! I need your help! I really thought there was SO MUCH girl stuff out there, but I'm so fussy and also can't find it all now. If you have a link to a tutorial you've written or seen that you thought was cute, leave it in a comment below! Even if it's just a cute little outfit you've seen that's inspiring you. I REALLY need help with this girl thing!

I want to do this but with her name.

When I sorted through all Little Monster's clothes I never realised how BOY it all is. I need some cute little girlie beanies! She's going to be a winter baby!

Again! Calling all mamas of girls. Or aunts. Or people who KNOW girls. I don't know what I'm doing. Inspiration, links, WHATEVER. I need them.

    1. those aprons are SO CUTE! I've only seen them with little ruffled bloomers underneath, but yours shows how to layer it over warmer clothes. Smart!

  3. The awesome thing is that you can take any pattern and just add awesome fabric. I'm looking forward to an eyeball party frock in the years to come.

  4. I love your blog and I am so excited to see what little girl stuff you make! All the boy stuff you make has me wanting to have all boys when I start having kids. I would post a ton of links but I have a kids board on pinterest. (http://pinterest.com/doll4211/munchkins/) and I add to it frequently for inspiration for my neices!

    You're awesome!

  8. Oh! Girls are sooo much fun to sew for! I always end up making girly things out of "boy" fabrics (dino space unicorn fabric into a t-shirt with puff sleeves and stegosaurus tips on the hood; Thomas halter dress...) It's mainly because I hate that all-over pepto look the stores carry for girls. If you do decide to make an awesome pettiskirt, I have a psuedo-tute on some tips on how to make one.

So awesome to find another manic panic sewing mommie online! >._.<
